Anna-Kaisa Pippuri studied oboe in Sibelius Academy with Jorma Valjakka. She graduated from Sibelius Academy as master of music year 2006.

 

She has worked as an oboist in many orchestras, E.g. in Tapiola Sinfonietta, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Anna-Kaisa acts as an oboe player in many ensembles. For example Avanti! Chamber Orchestra and Uusinta Ensemble. She has been playing a lot of music of our time during the years and has become specialized in new oboe techniques. She has also premiered numerous pieces of composers of our time. At the moment she is completing her post-graduate studies in Sibelius Academy and working as a freelance musician and teacher.
